Carmen Walsh (Pianist)
I wanted to play the piano when I was 3 years old! I remember it well ... but didn’t get to start piano lessons until age 9. By the time I was 12, I was accompanying, composing and arranging music. I also play the violin and sing. I have always loved working with children, and especially teaching music to kids! I have been a private piano teacher and a K-8 general music teacher. I’ve accompanied countless solos, groups, and choirs. I’ve also organized, directed and accompanied children singing/performing groups during the past 40 years. I currently work at Marana High School as the Fine Arts Department pianist. I truly feel I have the best of both worlds. I get to work with the youth on a daily basis, while doing what I love most!

Amy Millett (Director)
I have enjoyed singing my whole life. As a young girl I was in a children's choir and also enjoyed playing the piano. I eventually was an all-state singer and graduated from the Arizona Study Program in piano. I have been involved in the Katy Children's Choir in Texas and have had many other opportunities to accompany and conduct choirs in church and in the community. My vision for this choir is that children will come and develop a passion for singing and music and also learn many skills that will help them in future music endeavors and in life.
Marana Youth Choir is an opportunity for elementary aged children (K-6) to sing a variety of music while developing choral skills such as singing in parts.
